We are seeking a Learning Hub Coordinator to lead, develop, and oversee the daily operation and long‑term vision of our Learning Hub; an innovative, student‑centred space that supports inquiry, creativity, wellbeing, and cross‑curricular learning.

As Learning Hub Coordinator, you will:

· Coordination

o Coordinate school‑wide events and activities.

o Liaise with departments to design engaging curricular and cross‑curricular projects.

o Collaborate closely with the Library on joint and complementary activities.

o Work with cover teachers and the timetabler to ensure smooth daily operation of the Learning Hub.

o Liaise with school management regarding future development, including the potential creation of a maker space.

· Student Activities

o Promote student agency, creativity, choice, and voice’, especially for S1 and S2.

o Design and promote inquiry‑based learning activities (e.g., origami, world‑event inquiry, competitions, crafts).

o Encourage student participation in creating Learning Hub displays.

· Student Welfare

o Observe and monitor students in the Learning Hub.

o Take proactive action to support individual student needs.

o Provide a safe, welcoming space for students who require support.

· Supervision

o Supervise Learning Hub activities including cover lessons, cross‑curricular sessions, events, and competitions.

o Implement positive reinforcement strategies to support behaviour.

· Administration

o Maintain records of incidents and enter them into school systems.

o Keep records of Learning Hub activities and maintain a calendar of events.

What We Are Looking For

· Teaching qualification or any certificates in the education field

· Experience working with students aged 11–18.

· Experience in international or intercultural education.

· Strong organisational and coordination skills.

· Ability to design engaging, inquiry‑based activities.

· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to support student wellbeing.

· Good ICT skills and understanding of ICT use in an educational context.

· A proactive, creative, and student‑centred mindset

· Living in the Netherlands with a working permit

· We offer a salary aligned with the Dutch Collective Labour Agreement (CAO VO). The salary is a minimum of €3622 and a maximum of €5520 for a full-time contract on the LB scale and the step offered will depend on your level of experience.
