Our Primary and Secondary schools are situated on two spacious campuses in The Hague’s International Zone, working closely together with a shared vision and mission as part of the Rijnlands Lyceum Foundation.
Your responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the European Schools Music Syllabus (Primary Cycle).
- Organise school-wide events and performances.
- Work in a close team with the music teachers and music coordinator.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the school regarding development of children.
- Be a focal point for your subject with the wider school community.
Requirements and recommendations
- Experience meeting the individual needs of students
- Experience of teaching music lessons to primary-aged children
- Experience international or intercultural education
- Good ICT skills and an understanding of ICT use in an educational context
- Relevant professional qualifications from your country of study
- Willingness to be involved in extra-curricular activities
- Knowledge of other EU languages is an advantage
- Living in the Netherlands

o The salary is a minimum €3463 and a maximum of €5277 on scale LB, the step offered will depend on your level of experience.
o 8% holiday allowance (May)
o 8.33% year-end bonus (December)
o October allowance €1640 for a full-time position
o Monthly contribution towards travel expenses (if applicable)
o ABP pension scheme
o Number of options for tax benefits regarding, e.g. trade union dues, the costs of sports (for instance, fitness membership fees and the purchase of a bicycle (for commuting purposes)
